4/28 Saturday Morning Service: Cleaning, Gardening and Maintenance – Service Group A (District 1 and 2 saints with last names A-H). Please meet at 9:30 a.m. for corporate prayer and fellowship before cleaning the hall. Please note that all saints are welcome to come each Saturday.
4/29 Celebration of the Resumption of the Lord’s Table in Washington, DC – To celebrate the resumption of the Lord’s Table in Washington, DC, we will have a corporate Lord’s Day meeting at Grand Hyatt Washington, 1000 H Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001. The meeting will be held 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM at Independence Ballroom (at level 5B). An invitation letter has been sent out to invite saints of the churches along the East Coast to also participate. For the prophesying time, we will review Message 18, The Highest Revelation of Christ, Crystallization -Study of the Psalms, Volume 3. A box lunch will be provided for everyone outside the hotel after the meeting. We hope small groups of saints will eat, fellowship, share the gospel, sightsee, etc. in nearby areas. The hotel lobby is directly accessible from the “Metro Center” Metro stop. Normal children service will be provided onsite. There will be NO meeting at Dunn Loring on 4/29.
Special Parking Instructions for 4/29 Corporate Meeting – We were able to secure a parking garage very close to Grand Hyatt Washington (~0.2 mile) at a good rate. All saints are strongly encouraged to use this parking facility. It is Central Parking, 1201 New York Avenue NW,Washington, DC 20005. The cost is only $7. Note that the garage entrance is actually on the other side of the building on I St. The best way to get there from Northern Virginia is from Constitution Ave, left turn on 12th St, and then left turn on I St. The entrance should be on your left. The garage, holding up to 200 cars, will be open 8:30AM-3:30 PM. Lunch and gospel literature will be distributed at this garage after the meeting. Since the garage will be closed by 3:30PM, it is imperative that you pick up your cars before the deadline. The underground garage at the hotel location (entrance on 10th St) is always available. $17 for up to 12 hours and $32 for up to 24 hours.
Hospitality Sign-up – We anticipate some saints from out of town attending the 4/29 corporate meeting will need hospitality. Please sign up at the Service Office if you can provide hospitality.
4/29 Deadline for signing up for both the Live Training in Anaheim and the Video Training in Dunn Loring – Registration forms are available at the Service Office, or you can also sign up on the website under “Members”, then “2012 Summer Training Registration.” The donation for the live and video training is $155 and $80, respectively. Dates for the live training in Anaheim are July 2 to July 7, 2012. Any registrations received after the deadline need to be approved by LSM and if approved, may be subject to late fees. 5/25- 5/28 International Memorial Day Conference – The International Memorial Day Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue Hotel in Bellevue, Washington from 5/25 through 5/28. Please see the service office for further details if you are planning on attending.
Property for the church in Yerevan, Armenia – During the recent International Elders and Responsible Brothers Training, the coworkers opened up a further burden of purchasing a bigger piece of property in Yerevan, Armenia. This piece of property is adjacent to the original (smaller) property that we have recently contributed to purchase. These properties are located in a very strategic area of the city with many universities nearby. The total cost of purchasing both properties is $700,000+. So far, in addition to the $70,000 raised by the local saints, roughly $70,000 has been given by the churches in Mid-Atlantic and wired to the Church in Yerevan. Recently, there have been two large gifts of $100,000 (a total of $200,000) given for this need. One of them was from LSM. The saints and churches throughout the Lord’s recovery are again encouraged to continue to give in the next few months to care for this need. Please keep this in your prayer.
