Report From Gloria Kwong – 05/28/13

Hi everyone!

This past month we hosted the One Week Trainings at Bower House. This time was so precious and profitable with many believers from all over Europe coming together for one week to enjoy and pursue the Lord together under the healthy speaking of the ministry. Many were completely new to the ministry and it was so awesome to see them find the key to our Christian life– our mingled spirit! They all seemed to enjoy entering into the practice of calling on the name of the Lord, pray-reading and prophesying; the atmosphere was so high and uplifted.

We continue to meet with the Bible recipients from the Olympic distribution. Rachel Maswime (Bulayo’s wife, some of you may have met her during the gospel trip) and I have been meeting with Angela for over a month now, and last week we started to read The Glorious Church with her. Pray that she would be unveiled to see the Church as God sees it, and that she and her husband Luis would be gained for Christ and the Church.

Jennifer and Heather are two university students we started to meet with two weeks ago. Both are very hungry for the Word and seeking to pursue the Lord with others. We have read the first three chapters of the Basic Elements of the Christian Life and our hope is that they could be connected to other university students and some saints in the homes.

All the serving ones in the UK are in fellowship right now about migration and where we might be situated come August. It’s a bit scary, but it’s good to be reminded of Hebrews 11:8-10 and   be drawn and attracted by His charming beauty to look away from all other things other than Him so we could live by Him as our faith.

“By faith Abraham, being called, obeyed to go out unto a place which he was to receive as an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was going.
By faith he dwelt as a foreigner in the land of promise as in a foreign land, making his home in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the fellow heirs of the same promise;
For he eagerly awaited for the city which has the foundations, whose Architect and Builder is God.”

I will be home (well, back in Dunn Loring) in two weeks for some time before I go to Anaheim for the summer semi-annual. I hope to see many of you while I’m state side! Much grace to you all!
